About PlasticUnits
Independent intelligence on the plastic credits market, plastic policy, and the global effort to end plastic pollution.
Our Mission
Making a complex market legible to the people who need to act in it.
PlasticUnits is an independent knowledge platform covering the plastic credits market, recycling investment, and global plastic policy. We exist because the plastic credits market is growing rapidly — and the people making decisions in it need reliable, fact-based intelligence that does not exist to sell them a product.
Coverage Areas
Editorial Standards
All content is fact-checked against primary sources. We cite the organisations, standards, and reports we reference. We do not accept paid placement, sponsored content, or editorial influence from market participants.
Our editorial team has no financial interest in any plastic credit programme we cover. When we reference market pricing data, we identify the source. When claims are contested or uncertain, we say so explicitly.
We distinguish between the voluntary plastic credit market (where we report actively) and specific project developers or platforms (where we aim for neutrality). If a company or project is mentioned critically, we seek comment before publication.
